Welcome to the pilot of Mocha Jump Comic contest! Mocha Jump is calling for creators post a lifestyle, informational or comedy (any genre really as long as it’s in the comics strip format) comics on Mocha Jump platform. Winner will receive $200 and get featured on our page.

What is Mocha Jump

Mocha Jump is an open platform for comics (imagine Youtube but for comics). Anyone can post comics and generate revenue or find comics they want to read.

We are not a publisher and we have no editors. Mocha Jump solely relies on algorithmic recommendation (Coming Soon) to show your content to readers who are most likely to enjoy it. Creators are free to post whenever, whatever and charge however.

Criteria

1. The content must be posted on mochajump.com .

2. Doesn’t have to contain any lines but if it does it should be in english.

3. We are looking for a short comic-strip style contents with around 4 to 10 pages (this is not a hard requirement so it’s okay to go above or less). The following links provide good examples of a format that we’re looking for

   We want to make sure the labor going into the participation corresponds to the award size. In the future, we will host contests with larger award size that will ask for more pages, and more demanding format.

Award

The winner will be awarded $200 and High Value Creator status for lifetime, which grants creators the rights to 95% and more of the revenue generated from their contents.

Winner of pilot will get to judge the next 5 contests.

Process

1. Submit comics based on the criteria on Mocha Jump following Mocha Jump How To Guide
2. Submit the entry to https://forms.gle/D2gJdVW7VJxhAzsi7
3. The winner will be determined based on the
   1. Total view counts until 2022, Oct.29th (50%)
   2. Like counts until 2022, Oct.29th (50%)
   3. Judge score (10%) for creativity, originality and quality each weighing 3.33
      1. Currently it’s just @Jay Ryu on the judge panel. Following contests will be judged by the past winner(s)
4. Winner announced on 2022, Oct.30th
5. Winner will coordinate with Mocha Jump to receive the award
